broadwearvers and clothiers of coventry
The Broadweavers and Clothiers Company is one of Coventry’s ancient textile guilds, with origins dating back to the 14th century. Incorporated by Royal Charter in 1665, its roots lie in Coventry’s medieval prosperity as a major centre for wool and broadcloth weaving.
Today, the Company is a volunteer-led organisation preserving the city’s rich textile heritage while supporting the next generation of makers. Through their bursary scheme, they provide financial support to students from Coventry and Warwickshire pursuing further education in textiles-related fields – whether as a career or a creative passion.
Their continued involvement in educational and public initiatives helps promote skills in weaving, design, and fabric craftsmanship, keeping the city’s legacy alive and thriving.

myton hospice
The Myton Hospices are well known across Coventry and Warwickshire for the incredible care they provide to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Beyond their vital medical support, they are also strong champions of community, sustainability, and social impact.
We’re deeply grateful to Myton for their generous donations of pre-loved clothing and textiles, which have become the foundation of many of our upcycling and eco-art projects. Their contributions not only reduce textile waste but also help young people and communities explore creativity through sustainable making.
Thanks to Myton’s ongoing support, our workshops and school programmes continue to inspire, educate, and bring people together through purposeful art.

texile skill centre
The Textile Skills Centre has been an invaluable supporter of the Let’s Create project, offering expert guidance, resources, and creative encouragement throughout our journey. With their deep knowledge of textile education and industry practice, they’ve helped us shape a programme that’s both inspiring and relevant for today’s young makers.
Their support has strengthened our curriculum, introduced new techniques, and provided access to a vibrant network of textile professionals. This collaboration helps ensure that the next generation of creatives is equipped with both the skills and the confidence to pursue careers—or passions—in sustainable textiles.
We’re proud to work alongside an organisation so committed to quality education and innovation in the textile sector.
